Information on Data Protection, Links and Liability Data protection

1. Data protection / Privacy
   If users of this Website are requested to enter personal or business information (contact request: e-mail addresses, names, addresses), they do so on a strictly voluntary basis. Only a name and possibly a current e-mail address are required to send the form. All other entries are optional. None of the data entered is disclosed to third parties and such data is used exclusively within the Company to answer the enquiry. No registration is required anywhere on the Website to use it. Cookies are sometimes placed which we do not use to analyse user behaviour. The only purpose of such cookies is to make usage of the Website more convenient, e.g. by saving the status of the directory tree in the navigation bar on the right in the multimedia area. By placing cookies, we also enable all users to activate/deactivate the tracking function (see next point).
2. Tracking (Website Analysis)
   We monitor the use of our Website with the open-source software Piwik. The data remains solely on our servers and we have set-up Piwik in such a way that the visitors’ IPs stay anonymous. We request all visitors to our Website to keep tracking activated, so that we can change the content to suit our users' needs. However, in the footer on each page you can also switch off the tracking function if you wish. Tracking is activated by default and you can switch it off by removing the tick. For this opt-out process we use the modifications that Tobsolution describes in his blog (German).
3. References and Links
   Where direct or indirect reference to Websites belonging to third parties (“links”) occur that are outside the area of responsibility of Götting KG, liability would only come into force if Götting KG is aware of such content and it would not be technically possible or reasonable to expect Götting KG to prevent usage thereof should the content be unlawful.

   Götting KG declares that at the time the link was placed, the pages to which the link was linked to were free of illegal content. Götting KG has no influence whatsoever on the current and future design, the content or copyright of the pages to which a link is provided. As a result, Götting KG distances itself explicitly from all content of all linked pages which were changed after the link was placed. This provision applies to all links and references placed within the Company’s own Website.    All offerings are without engagement and non binding. Götting KG reserves the right to change, update or delete parts of the Website or the entire Website without prior warning, or to stop publishing the Website temporarily or finally.

   Götting KG endeavours to respect the copyrights of all graphics, sound files, video sequences and texts used and to use graphics, sound files, video sequences and texts created by Götting KG, or to make use of licence-free graphics, sound files, video sequences and texts.
   Any trademarks mentioned on the Website which might be protected by third parties, are fully subject to the provisions of the trademark law that applies and the ownership rights of the registered owners. Merely by naming the trademarks, it may not be inferred that trademarks are not protected by the rights of third parties.
   The copyright for objects created and published by Götting KG is in the sole possession of Götting KG. Any duplication or usage of such graphics, sound files, video sequences and texts in other electronic or printed publications is not permitted without the express permission of Götting KG.
