The remote controls from GÖTTING KG / FOX Division for series commercial vehicles and mobile machines do not replace people, but they do enable vehicles to be used in environments that are unpleasant, unreasonable, hazardous or dangerous for people.

Remote controls enable the vehicle driver to have a better overview of the vehicle’s surroundings and then initiate the correct vehicle actions. This increases the efficiency of vehicle deployment and prevents damage to property or even personal injury.

From simple manual remote control with just a few functions to a fully equipped control station with video and audio transmission for controlling several vehicles: we implement customer requirements.

Remote Control Concept

Our remote-controlled vehicles are equipped with a control system that converts the driver’s intended actions into commands to the steering, accelerator, brakes and implements. Displacement, angle and acceleration sensors check the plausibility of the conversion of the commands to the respective actuators.

The vehicle driver uses a radio remote control adapted to the specific application as an input device.

Sensors for image and sound recording enable the use of a remote control even if the vehicle driver cannot or should not be able to observe the vehicle operation and the operating environment on site completely or at all. Safety sensors ensure additional protection for people, the surroundings and the vehicle.
