Lehrte, June 20th 2013 — Radio remote control for a Liebherr two-way excavator that can be operated manually or remotely controlled. The vehicle is equipped with a gravel broom and is used to clean the intra-plant railway network of voestalpine, Linz, zu reinigen. The remote control is used to operate the excavator in areas with fall hazard.
A specific feature is the operation in a so-called recovery mode. In this mode all error sources are blocked. This enables to retrieve the machine from danger zones.
