It doesn’t always have to be WLAN

Lehrte, February 25th 2011 — Götting, the specialist for radio data communication, has recently developed a fast, real-time radio data communication system for packaging machines from Gerhard Schubert GmbH Verpackungsmaschinen
.

Inside a packaging machine the system is used to steer small verhicles with high precision. All driving commands and position data are transmitted redundantly and with high transmission safety to the so-called TRANSMODUL.

The Short-Range radio module exclusively developed by Götting for this application uses the ISM band at 2.4 GHz. The system incorporates a leaky wave cable and a coupler integrated into the TRANSMODUL. Thus it es very robust and immune against noise. It is used regularly for TLM packaging machines from Schubert.

Götting has again proven the high competence from it’s long experience with developing industrial class radio data communication systems.
